Figma - UI/UX Design

Kajal Pandey joined the Figma - UI/UX Design course to turn her interest in design into a practical, job-ready skill. Over the course, she learned how successful digital products are planned, designed and tested, and how designers make decisions that put users first.

She started with the foundations of UX design, including user research, surveys, personas, empathy maps and user journeys. She learned how to define a problem clearly, map out user flows and sketch wireframes, so that every screen has a purpose before any visual design begins.

Next, she built her skills in Figma. She worked with frames, grids, auto layout, constraints, components and variants, and learned to manage colour styles, text styles and reusable libraries. These lessons showed her how to create clean, consistent designs and how a small design system saves time on larger projects.

She designed responsive interfaces for mobile apps and websites, focusing on visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, accessibility and ease of use. She also learned how to choose the right colours, icons and layouts so a product feels clear, modern and trustworthy.

To bring her designs to life, she created interactive prototypes with transitions, overlays and micro-interactions. She then tested them with real users, gathered feedback and improved her work step by step, just as design teams do in the industry.

During the course, she also practised explaining her design choices, accepting feedback from mentors and preparing clean files for developer handoff. This helped her build confidence in presenting her work to clients and teams.

By the end of the program, Kajal had built a design portfolio that shows her skills to employers and clients.
